School holidays are upon us, as well as Easter, so scrapbooking has gone out the window the last couple of weeks. I did go along for a day with the Northside Scrappers and this was one of the pages I did.It's for Challenge Heaven for the Colour challenge was Light blue, pumpkin + 1 colour of your choice (small amounts of black and white may be used), Criteria: Use a butterfly.
Orange & blue are opposite each other on the colour wheel so they look great together. Thankfully I had some papers from Kaisercraft, that were just the right colours. They were very bright so I decided to tone down with white. I made the flowers using layered circles and by making spirals out of the of cuts. I'm really happy with the result, orange is always a challenge for me since it's not a favourite colour!
I've been cleaning up my scrapping room, so hopefully I'll get motivated to do some more!
